Amantran Estate, Ambala-IN

by Bhawana Singh

A neoclassical landscape painted across two opposite walls of a grand double-height foyer: colonnades, arches and ancient ruins set in soft green woodland. The two murals face each other across the entrance, each a continuation of the same imagined world. Painted in pale teal and sage, they sit quietly within the architecture, as if the walls were always meant to open onto something beyond. Commissioned in collaboration with architect Aparna Kaushik.
